Answer: We all are!
Questions: Why did Susan decide to call the gifts of her
service to others "Shining Spirits"?
Answer: She was inspired by the
shining spirits seen in her beloved animals' eyes and by the devic influences in
the vibrational essences she loves.

Animals are Shining Spirits!
Our beloved animal friends and family are the most obvious Shining Spirits for many
of us lucky enough to share our lives with them. Their unconditional love shines
out from their eyes as they gaze at us, providing a brilliantly clear reflection
of their Shining Spirits which is impossible to miss. This, along with the Devic
forces is what inspired the name "Shining Spirits" offered here.
All animals are Shining Spirits. Even those who have been abandoned and separated
from their own kind, who may feel unloved by the human community, are loved by Spirit,
and by their soul family. Wherever they may be, and whatever their thoughts and feelings
about their lives, their heart spirits shine forth to anyone who seeks their truth.
Their courage and compassion are inspirational, reflecting the magnificence of their
Shining Spirits.
Wild animals are especially majestic Shining Spirits. They display their zest for
life and freedom as they live in accordance with their species' directives despite
dwindling habitats and, for some, threats of extinction. They serve us as splendid
role models on how to live joyously and in celebration of our innate gifts.
People are Shining Spirits too!
Our beloved family members are equally obvious Shining Spirits to those of us who
are fortunate. Most humans wear more emotional and mental layers of self-protection
than do most other animals. Some of us excel at hiding our inner selves from others,
or even from ourselves. Yet our inner spirits remain eternally present, regardless
of our personal circumstances and experiences. There is no greater generosity than
allowing our divine nature to be reflected in our lives so that everyone we meet
is uplifted by the presence of our Shining Spirits.
All the kingdoms of Nature are Shining Spirits as well!
Who cannot see the living spirit which is reflected in a fresh flower bloom? And
in trees, rooted strongly in the ground as they reach into the sky? In the strength
and stability of mountains, in the wondrous colors and structures of crystals? In
the lively babbling of brooks and power of rivers, in the timeless waves and tides
of our oceans? In the heavenly gloriousness of the constellations and planets and
in the regenerative powers of the sun? The munificent Shining Spirits of the Nature
kingdom freely contribute their gifts of energy, beauty and wisdom to the paradise
of our Earth and entire living Universe.
And the Shining Ones, of course!
The nature kingdom is overseen by devas, elemental beings and nature spirits, the
overlighting intelligences who hold the archetypes of divine inspiration and fulfill
the direction of the angelic realm in manifesting the plants, trees, rocks, waters
and other living forms on Earth. "Deva" is a Sanskrit word meaning "Shining
One". Many myths and legends passed down through the ages give similar descriptions
of such invisible beings, just as they do with angels. But whether or not we choose
to personify them into devas and angels, the synergy of these multidimensional energies
is intrinsic to the cosmic web of universal life. They are the radiant and benevolent
Shining Spirits which connect us to ourselves, to one another, to our world and to
the Oneness which makes us whole.
And the essences....
The angelic, devic and elemental beings, along with Spirit and Quintessence, are
our co-creators in making the magical substances we know as vibrational essences.
So, the Shining Spirits contained in liquid essence form infuse the Shining Spirits
of all living beings who partake of them. It matters not how tiny the inner flame
remaining; essences can re-ignite and illuminate us from within, restoring and renewing
the essence of our infinite selves. And when our Shining Spirits beam forth, reflecting
the perfection of our goodness and divine nature (essence), we serve all of life
by lighting the way to the Divine for ourselves and for one another.
